About Us

The Hive Nursing Development was created to address a critical gap in nursing and midwifery careers: the lack of structured, real-world leadership, recruitment, and career development support delivered by people who have actually led in healthcare.

Founded by Lisa Lucas, award-winning nurse leader and healthcare executive, The Hive exists to empower nurses and midwives at every stage of their career from early practice through to executive leadership.

We are built on a simple but powerful belief: nurses grow best when supported by nurses who understand the realities of the profession.
